Barb has been a photographer for over 70 years. After retiring to Bobcaygeon in the early ‘90s from a business that required total photographic concentration on specific subjects 24/7, she was free to capture anything that called to her.
No one genre in particular spoke to her, but everywhere she looked, her eye spotted a story. The straight-out-of-the-camera kind, or an abstract one she could conjure through compositing.
She is currently playing with various composites that are rattling around in her mind, printing the results on various papers and card stock to see which one pops out at her. As she prints all her own work, she has found that the paper you use gives you extremely different results. Her work is found framed, on matted prints and on Fine Art Cards.
