Today we were all in the gallery with our vacuums, spray bottles, dusters etc, getting the place spic and span ready for our grand opening in less than a month.  Almost all of the artists were there, and we spent a couple of hours polishing, cleaning windows and getting our tables and displays all set up ready to go.

We have a painting day prepared for a day in May and then the artists all drop off their work for “Hanging Day”.  Not as gruesome as it sounds, it is when a small group take the work that is delivered and hang paintings and stained glass.  Put wood work, ceramics and jewellery on shelves ready for you, our visitors.  So you can come and browse and perhaps pick up a piece that calls out to you, or looks like something that a loved one would like.
